Weiss does not perform surgery and has a financial interest in several non-surgical scoliosis treatments. This is just one of many examples of his work quoting only articles that are critical of scoliosis surgery and ignoring all articles that are supportive of scoliosis surgery. I hate to think that parents might actually use one of his articles to decide against surgery for a child whose long-term health depends upon it.
